Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports that Apple will send invitations out this week for a keynote that will likely fall on Wednesday, September 9. Apple has given exactly fourteen days notice on every iPhone launch since 2022, which lands on the same Wednesday. Apple has never held its iPhone event the day after Labor Day, which rules out September 8.
Alongside the iPhone 18 Pro, the Pro Max and the foldable that reporting expects Apple to call iPhone Ultra, the same keynote is expected to carry an Apple Watch Series 12 with a ceramic case option and two AirPods 5 models. Apple sent the invitation on August 26 and confirmed the date, under the tagline Surprise and shine.
