Brazil's telecoms regulator Anatel has certified the Galaxy S26 FE with a 4,900mAh battery, the same capacity as last year's S25 FE, three days before Samsung's August 27 event. The certification landed ahead of the phone's debut and was first reported by Tecnoblog. It also lists Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC, along with a 25W EP-TA800 charger in the Brazilian box, which local law requires and which buyers in the United States and Europe will not get. The phone is expected to support 45W wired charging.
An earlier report had Samsung switching the S26 FE to silicon-carbon cells, which fit more capacity into the same space and have let other makers push past 5,000mAh without thickening their phones. Digital Trends reported the alternative earlier, that Samsung would take the gain as a slimmer phone and leave capacity at 4,900mAh, and the certificate is what that reading predicts. The rest of the hardware carries over, with reporting pointing to a 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage, and 50MP, 12MP ultrawide and 8MP 3x telephoto cameras. The chip moves to the Exynos 2500, replacing the S25 FE's Exynos 2400 and still sitting behind the Exynos 2600 used across the regular Galaxy S26 line. Samsung introduces the phone on August 27.
