Even Realities has a new tortoiseshell version of its G2 smart glasses called Brown 2, and it's on sale worldwide today for $649 in the US, Android Authority reports. The pattern runs through the whole acetate frame, and each pair is shaped, pressed, tumbled and polished over 20 hours, so no two look quite alike. The company says it's the lightest G2 yet, but it hasn't given a weight. Otherwise it's the same glasses, in both the Frame A and Frame B styles. Two accessories launched alongside it: $149 polarized sun clips with 100% UVA and UVB protection, and a $79 stainless steel chain for hanging the glasses around your neck. Buy all three and you're at $877.
If you already own a G2, the 2.4.0 update gives your glasses a memory. You import past Conversate sessions or upload files, and the glasses sort them into a tree of connected topics that you can add to, change or prune. Even AI 2.0 draws on that for its answers and keeps track of follow-up questions, Android Headlines reports. A new AI Cue Expert Mode can bring up relevant information during a sales call, interview or class and flag questions nobody has answered yet. Conversate Pro Mode and Insights, which pulls priorities, risks and next steps out of a conversation, is in beta. There's finally a dark mode, too. None of it needs new glasses.
