The Galaxy Watch 9 is the third straight year of the same shape.
A circular display sits inside a squircle, the outline the original Galaxy Watch Ultra introduced. Samsung teased the watch as a returning circle-on-a-square with an all-new inside, which is a fair description of where the work went.
The Classic did not come back. A June leak said there would be no Classic this year, against earlier leaks that had the rotating bezel returning.
Sizes are unchanged. The 40mm carries a 1.34-inch screen and the 44mm a 1.47-inch one, and each is sold with or without LTE.
Colors split by size rather than running across the line. Cream and Graphite on the 40mm, Silver and Graphite on the 44mm.
Bluetooth models start at $379.99 and LTE at $429.99.
Samsung sold the design as returning. The entry price went up $30.
