Moving the compute off your head is the main way to cut a headset's weight, and it isn't a new idea. Xreal's Project Aura already puts its processor and battery in a pocket puck, and several enterprise headsets do the same. Apple exploring it for Vision Pro 2 would put it a generation behind the approach, not ahead of it.
