iPhone Duo owners can now slide the whole outer screen sideways to reach it with one thumb. Apple's iOS 27.3 beta 1, out today, adds Reachability to the Duo, a fix Apple promised after early reviews said the extra-wide outer display was hard to use one-handed. On other iPhones, Reachability pulls the screen down. On the Duo it works horizontally: turn it on in Settings, Accessibility, Reachability, then a short swipe to the side shifts everything left or right.

The same beta also goes the other way, bringing the Duo's redesigned StandBy to other iPhones. That means the new Analog and Digital Clock faces with more color and complication options, new Calendar and Weather faces, and Shared Albums in the Photos face. It's developer-only for now, with a public beta due in the coming days, per 9to5Mac, and Apple has said iOS 27.3 will reach everyone next month.
