Motorola has two more things to sell you if you buy its $1,600 Signature 27 phone: the Moto Buds Ultra 27 earbuds and the Moto Watch Fit 27. Both reach North America in the coming months, per 9to5Google. Motorola hasn't given a price or a date for either one.
The buds are listed at £179.99 in the UK and the watch at £99.99, with the watch at €99 elsewhere in Europe, per Gizmochina. There's still no US price or on-sale date, but that UK watch price is a long way under the $349 Watch Ultra.
Motorola calls the buds its "most feature-packed pair of earbuds yet." Bose supplies the noise cancelling and the sound tuning, and the 11mm drivers sit in a regular in-ear design with tips. There are six microphones, plus two Voice Pickup Units, and Motorola says it built them for content creation as well as sound quality, so these are meant to be recorded with.
You get around 8 hours of playback on a charge, and 37 with the case. The buds are rated IP57. They can stay paired to two devices at once, and audio share puts two sets of buds on one device. They also pause when you take them out, respond to head gestures, show up in Google's Find Hub and run Motorola's Qira assistant, with AI Live Translate on top. The colors are Pantone Reflecting Pond, a dark blue, and Pantone Temple Gray.
The watch goes the other way from the Moto Watch Ultra, which Motorola launched in September at $349. That one is a 46mm stainless steel Wear OS watch rated at two days. The Fit 27 lasts nearly two weeks on a charge. It's square, with an aluminum frame, a rotating crown and a physical button you can customize. The 1.85-inch gOLED screen has 2mm bezels, stays on all the time if you want it to and sits under Gorilla Glass 3. It's rated IP68 and 5ATM.
With noise cancelling on at 50% volume, the buds last about 5.7 hours, Motorola told Android Headlines. The watch's 12 days assumes the always-on display is off. Turn it on and you get 7 days, while low power mode stretches it to 16.
Polar handles the health tracking here too, as it does on the Watch Ultra. The Fit 27 tracks heart rate, SpO2, stress, sleep, calories, inactivity and menstrual cycles, along with steps and distance. It covers more than 100 workouts and detects activity on its own, and dual-frequency GPS handles outdoor tracking. Qira is built in as well, so you can run the watch hands-free. It comes in Pantone Stratified Sea, Pantone Pigeon and Pantone Ballerina.
If you want a Motorola watch today, the Watch Ultra is the one on sale. If charging every two days sounds like a chore, hold off and see what the Fit 27 costs. The same goes for the buds: Bose tuning and 37 hours of battery are easy to like, but you can't weigh them against anything else until Motorola names a number.
