The A20 Pro could sit its memory beside the processor rather than above it

What this is made of

• The A20 Pro could be 18% faster than the A19 Pro

Weibo leaker Fixed Focus Digital, citing supply chain sources, gives the A20 Pro an 18 percent performance gain and 30 percent better power efficiency over the A19 Pro. 9to5Mac relayed the figures and noted Apple usually splits its own numbers across CPU, GPU and Neural Engine, so these will not map cleanly onto what is said on stage.

• The A20 Pro may add a seventh GPU core

A Weibo leaker reconstructed the A20 Pro's layout from its solder positions and reads a seven-core GPU, against six on the A19 Pro. The same reading gives the efficiency cores 8MB of L2 cache to share where the A19 Pro gave them 6MB, leaves the performance cores on 16MB, and stops short of the system cache, which the leaker says is not yet clear but is unlikely to shrink.

• The A20 Pro could use new packaging that seats memory beside the chip

WHYLAB, Ice Universe, World Leaks and ldt reported that the A20 Pro will use WMCM packaging with DRAM placed beside the processor package.

  Right

• The US model could carry a 4,288mAh battery

Digital Chat Station and a regulatory filing listed a 4,288mAh battery for the U.S. or eSIM-only iPhone 18 Pro, while the China-market figure was reported at 4,056mAh.

• Storage is expected to start at 256GB

Right. Apple sells iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB, so storage starts at 256GB, as TrendForce reported.
