Samsung has started pushing Samsung Health v7.0 to Galaxy Watches, a month after the same redesign reached Galaxy phones. The watch version brings the same cleaner layout along with sleep apnea detection, a Heart Health Score and a Fitness Index, which together read more like a medical dashboard than a step counter.

Most of the new tracking needs One UI 9 Watch underneath it, which ships on the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 out of the box and reaches older watches later. So an update landing on your wrist today is mostly a redesign, and the features it advertises arrive when the platform does. Worth knowing before the notification makes it look like everything switched on at once.
