Samsung's giving the Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 five years of Wear OS updates through 2031, the longest of any Android watch and level with Apple. Google's own Pixel Watch only gets three years, so Samsung now supports Android watches longer than the company that makes Android does. The Ultra 2 also earned diving certification good to 40 meters, with a 5,000-nit screen and 35% bigger battery.
