Sonny Dickson shared two CAD models that appear to represent differently sized Galaxy S27 Ultra bodies, as Digital Trends reported on August 23. Ice Universe weighed in on the same leak, saying the relative positions of the buttons and the camera island differ between the two versions, which he called puzzling.

What the second body actually is stays open. The smaller one could turn out to be the separately rumored Galaxy S27 Pro rather than an Ultra. If both are Ultras, Samsung would have a direct answer to both of Apple's Pro iPhones, a smaller Ultra against the iPhone 18 Pro and the larger one against the Pro Max, where today the Ultra stands alone as the largest and most expensive Galaxy S model. That would also take the S27 line to five phones, alongside the standard S27, the S27+ and the S27 Pro.

There is a second disagreement underneath the first. Android Headlines reported that while Ice Universe believes the S27 Ultra design surfaced, another tipster, Schrodinger, who posts as @phonefuturist, does not. His argument is about packaging: Samsung would need very clever packaging to fit a flagship-grade 5x ALoP sensor into the layout shown without compromising optical performance, and he reads the CAD as the Edge, a model that is not expected to arrive.
