What we’re expecting
The cameras feed real-time visual data to Siri via Visual Intelligence, the same framework behind tap-and-hold object recognition on iPhone 16. The pendant extends it to always-on ambient context: what you're looking at, where you are, what's in front of you.
Apple's rumored AI pendant would move Visual Intelligence off the iPhone and onto your chest. Point your phone at an object today and it tells you what you're looking at. On a pendant it's always aimed at the world, so you never reach for the phone. Whether it has a screen or just talks back isn't clear yet.
