Samsung is shipping the cheaper half first. The glasses going on sale this fall are audio only, and a second pair carrying a micro-LED display, a screen built out of millions of tiny LEDs, is set for 2027 under the codename Haean.
According to Google, the first round of Intelligent Eyewear is audio only, with single-display and dual-display models to follow and a trusted tester program before either.
The audio-only pair has been reported at $379 to $499. The display model has been reported at $600 to $900.
Samsung has announced neither figure.
Haean used to mean something else. The name belonged to the display-free glasses first and was moved to the display model later, so a codename from the spring and a codename from today point at different products.
Audio this fall. A screen next year, at a price nobody has announced.
