Droid Life found two Samsung smart glasses listings in the FCC's database, and Android Authority reported them today. The model numbers are SM-O200J and SM-O200P. Each comes with variants: SM-O200P has four more codes, SM-O201P through SM-O204P, and SM-O200J has five, SM-O201J through SM-O205J.
Android Authority suspects the J is the Gentle Monster pair and the P is the Warby Parker one, though it stops short of saying so. Samsung is teaming up with both brands on the frames, the same way Meta teamed up with Ray-Ban.
A UL Demko safety listing we covered on September 17 already named the same eleven codes, in the same P and J ranges, and gave a 5W charging rate. The FCC entry is a second regulator's paperwork pointing at the same hardware, and it adds no new model.
Samsung showed the glasses at its summer Unpacked event earlier this year and has said they arrive in the fall. It hasn't given a date. An FCC appearance suggests an announcement may not be far off, per Android Authority, and price and availability are still open questions.
Samsung's first generation has no screen, and the display pair that would put text on the lens isn't due until 2027. All eleven codes belong to one generation, sold in two styles and several versions of each.
