A Samsung official has confirmed to The Korea Herald that the company’s first AI glasses will launch in November, narrowing the fall window Samsung and Google gave when they previewed the Intelligent Eyewear at I/O in May. There is still no exact date and no official price. Leaks put the price between $349 and $499, and it is unclear whether the first launch will be global or limited to select markets.

The glasses have no display. They rely on a camera, microphones, speakers and Gemini, and the heavier AI work runs on a paired Galaxy phone. Samsung reportedly wants them to weigh up to 5g less than Meta’s camera glasses, which start at 51.5g, in a display-less segment where Meta held 94% of first-half shipments, per Counterpoint. LEDs inside and outside the frame show when recording is active, and covering the outside one shuts the camera off. Two model numbers, SM-O200J and SM-O200P, have already turned up in FCC filings.
