A UL Demko safety listing puts Galaxy Glasses charging at 5W. SammyGuru found the entry, which also carries eleven model numbers for the glasses: SM-O200P through SM-O204P, and SM-O200J through SM-O205J.
Samsung has said the glasses run up to nine hours on a charge, with seven more charges waiting in the case. Nine hours out, 5W back in. It's the first figure anyone has on how the glasses refill rather than how long they last, and it arrives without the one number a buyer would actually use. Nobody has published a charge time, and a safety listing doesn't give one.
The battery itself turned up in India's BIS database before this. References to the glasses have been sitting in One UI 9.5 since August, when an internal build gave them their own entry in the phone's battery widget, alongside Watch, Ring and Buds. SammyGuru also found a Galaxy Glasses Manager app, which handles pairing and then the feature settings once the frames are connected.
Samsung's second pair, the one that puts text on the lens, isn't due until 2027, so the spread of eleven codes here belongs to a single generation split across whatever variants Samsung intends to sell. The listing doesn't say which is which, and it doesn't separate the P codes from the J codes.
The glasses take gestures from the Galaxy Ring, and they work with the Galaxy Watch. That is three pieces of Samsung hardware to get the most out of one, which tells you what kind of product this is meant to be.
On the frames themselves, the right arm carries a touchpad and a dedicated button takes photos and starts video recording. Indicator LEDs light up whenever the camera is running. We wrote in August that the glasses already obey a recording rule California has not passed, and the LEDs are the part of that promise you can see from across a table.
The first generation has no screen at all.
That was August too, when a screenless spec called in November 2024 turned out to match what Samsung showed twenty months later. The certifications arriving now aren't changing what the product is. They're filling in a charging rate, a battery entry in a phone build, a manager app, and eleven model codes.
Samsung confirmed fall 2026 itself, and the listing leaves that where it was.
