Samsung announced the Galaxy S26 FE at $699, and almost nothing about the hardware moved. The 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, the Exynos 2500, the 8GB of RAM, the 4,900 mAh battery with 45W charging and the 50MP, 12MP and 8MP rear cameras all match last year’s Galaxy S25 FE. Android 17 with One UI 9 out of the box is the only new thing on paper, and it comes with a restyled camera bump closer to the rest of the S26 line, in finishes Samsung calls Blueberry, Graphite and Pistachio. It goes on sale on September 4.
The S25 FE launched $50 lower, and 9to5Google reported it now sells for as little as $500 outright through some carriers and retailers, so the gap at the till is closer to $200 than to $50. India waits longer than everyone else. Samsung has confirmed September 18 there against September 3 in the US and September 4 in Europe, and it has not given an Indian price. The FE is also the only S26 still sold with a 128GB tier, which is part of what the $699 is buying.
