Samsung briefed press on smart glasses arriving this fall, still without a name beyond Intelligent Eyewear, in frames designed with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster. What it did not do is let anyone try them. Android Headlines: "Unfortunately, Samsung would not let us wear the glasses or really use them." Picking them up and noting the weight was the whole hands-on.
The number Samsung did give is 9 hours, with a case it says recharges them more than seven times. 9to5Google puts the right frame on it: "Pre-release estimates are always a bit generous, but a 9-hour battery seems like a decent place to start."
