Silver looks set to leave the iPhone 18 Pro lineup

If the leak holds, Apple swaps out all three iPhone 17 Pro colors at once, and the lightest option in the range goes with them.

Ask about the iPhone 18 Pro

Fixed Focus Digital posted on Weibo on Tuesday that the iPhone 18 Pro has entered full mass production, and named three colors for it: Sky Blue, Pure Black, and the burgundy the rumor mill has been calling Dark Cherry. Silver, the leaker said, will most likely not be offered, and he has seen no evidence of that color existing in China. Sonny Dickson’s dummy models showed Dark Cherry, Light Blue, Black and Silver. The iPhone 17 Pro shipped in three colors, per AppleInsider: a very light Silver, a very dark Deep Blue and Cosmic Orange.

If the leaked three hold, Apple replaces all of them rather than carrying one over. Sky Blue may be standing in for the Silver, since Apple has used it on the iPhone Air and the MacBook Air and, per 9to5Mac, it reads more like a silver finish than a blue one in everyday lighting. Apple shows the phones on September 9.

Update, Sep 2, 5:17 AM CT: Sonny Dickson posted iPhone 18 Pro SIM tray covers in silver, dark cherry and sky blue, and told MacRumors those are the only colors he has come across in recent months.
