What to know

Apple's smart glasses are expected to show a light whenever the cameras are on, so no one can be recorded in secret, according to several reports.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman said in April 2026 that the front cameras will sit in an oval surrounded by indicator lights, a different look from the round cameras on Meta's glasses.

Apple has not announced the glasses or said how bright the light will be.
