The camera steps up from iPhone 11-equivalent to iPhone 13-equivalent quality.
Meta has acknowledged its current glasses shoot at roughly iPhone 11 quality, a 2019 camera on a 2025 product, and says it is aiming for the next generation to match the iPhone 13. Laptop Mag reports the same target. That is a two-generation jump in one hardware cycle, enough to move the glasses from fine-for-a-clip toward something you would actually post. It is a stated goal, not a confirmed sensor spec.
