Meta's 2026 smart glasses could keep Live AI running for hours at a time, according to a report from The Information. Live AI is the mode where the glasses' assistant sees what you see and answers questions about it.

The report says the longer sessions are part of an optional set of features Meta calls "super sensing," which keeps Live AI running in the background. On today's Ray-Ban Meta Gen 2, a Live AI session lasts about 30 minutes.
