Android Headlines reported roughly 50 grams for the Jinju design, a figure that traces back to a Wellsen XR research note first published by 9to5Google in November 2024. Both Tom's Guide and Android Central attribute the number to that leak chain rather than to Samsung. Google has not announced a weight for the finished Gentle Monster or Warby Parker frames, and Samsung has not published one. A Tom's Guide reporter wrote that Google's demonstration prototypes at I/O weighed less than 50 grams, but those were prototypes rather than either retail frame, and Google did not provide the figure.
