Snap Specs · Reported Feature

A confirmed $2,195 starting price

What we’re expecting

Snap is charging far more than AI glasses, but far less than a mixed reality headset.

Snap officially priced Specs at $2,195 during AWE 2026 on June 16, undercutting the roughly $2,500 that had been widely reported before launch. Pre-orders opened the same day with a fully refundable $200 deposit, and the first shipments are scheduled for fall 2026 in the United States, the United Kingdom, and France. At $2,195, Specs cost nearly six times as much as Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses but more than $1,300 less than Apple’s Vision Pro, reflecting a product positioned between AI glasses and full mixed reality headsets.
