Apple is working on a big Apple Watch redesign, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, who said in August 2026 that Apple is pushing to have it ready next year but that it could slip to 2028.
The leaker Instant Digital also reported a major redesign in 2027, including a new way to attach bands. This fall's Series 12 and Ultra 4 were modest updates by comparison.
Apple has not announced a redesigned watch.
