Samsung's Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is certified for recreational diving under EN13319, the international standard for diving gear. Leaked marketing images posted by Evan Blass showed the rating two days before Unpacked, Digital Trends reported.
Earlier Galaxy Watch Ultra models did not have it, and Samsung told owners not to wear them while freediving or scuba diving. The new watch also carries 10ATM and IP69K ratings for water and dust, and records depth, dive time and water temperature.
