Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 · Reported Feature

Snapdragon Wear Elite replaces the Exynos

What we’re expecting

It swaps out the Exynos W1000 from the 2024 and 2025 Ultras and adds a dedicated AI NPU. The cheaper Galaxy Watch 9 keeps the Exynos, which makes the chip the clearest hardware line between the two watches.

Samsung confirmed it's dropping its own Exynos chip for Qualcomm's Snapdragon Wear Elite in future Galaxy Watches, and the Watch Ultra 2 is expected to be first. The chip runs AI tasks like voice and health analysis on-device instead of the cloud. The Ultra 2 is also rumored to pack 2GB of RAM and an 800mAh battery.
