Samsung's Galaxy S27 Ultra ships with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 worldwide, SammyGuru reports. The base Galaxy S27, S27+ and a new S27 Pro model get the 2nm Exynos 2700 instead, in Korea, Europe, India and most other regions, with US units of all three switching to Snapdragon.

Samsung is already in mass production on the Exynos 2700, with volume up more than 10% over the Exynos 2600, but that extra output is tied to the Pro rather than the Ultra. Samsung Foundry's 2nm yields are reportedly stable, yet that may not be enough to cover the Ultra, the best-selling model in the lineup. A lingering performance gap against Snapdragon is the other possible reason Exynos keeps missing the Ultra.
