Samsung has started mass-producing some Galaxy S27 components, ZDNet Korea reported. The first parts went into mass production last month. A broader run covering the Galaxy S27, S27+, S27 Pro and S27 Ultra is planned for mid-October.
Samsung is also working on One UI 9.5, the software for the new phones, so launch preparations may be on track. The phones are expected in early 2027.
The S27 gets a 6.27-inch screen and the S27+ a 6.66-inch one, the same sizes that had already been rumored. The new S27 Pro sits just under the Plus at 6.47 inches, and the Ultra is reportedly 6.89 inches.
Those sizes are close to the S26 generation's. The new part is the Pro, a smaller phone for people who want an Ultra-like experience in a more compact body, and Samsung expects strong demand for it. The Pro is expected to get Privacy Display, the screen feature, alongside the Ultra. The S27 and S27+ may miss out.
Samsung's display division also expects OLED orders for the 2027 flagships to jump more than 10% over the S26 line. It puts next year's shipments at 47 to 48 million S27 OLED panels. The target for the S26 series is in the low 40 millions.
The report gives no S27 price. A Korean tipster says Samsung plans to raise S27 prices across the range, and the S26 already went up $100 in the US. It rose in Canada, the UK and Europe this week too.
Everything above traces to one Korean report, relayed by SammyGuru, and Samsung hasn't confirmed any of it.
