Samsung raised US prices on the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra on October 1, and the change is now official on Samsung Mobile US. Most configurations went up $100, and the 1TB S26 Ultra went up $200 to $1,999.99. The S26 now starts at $999.99, the S26+ at $1,199.99 and the S26 Ultra at $1,399.99.

Samsung has not given a detailed explanation, but the hikes land amid a sharp rise in memory costs as chipmakers put data centers and AI first. Korea got the same increase earlier. The S27 is now expected to cost more at launch than the S26 did, which fits the Korean tipster who said S27 prices could rise again. Sales could bring the old prices back for a while: Amazon’s second Prime Day sale starts October 6, and holiday sales follow.
