Mark Zuckerberg closed Meta's Connect keynote on Wednesday with a keychain. It's called Muse Charm, and it exists so you can talk to Muse, the AI agent Meta is also bringing to its glasses. Meta hasn't given it a price. It says the design isn't final yet and that it plans to ship the Charm in time for the holidays.

The device is about the size of an Apple Watch. There's a small screen that shows your Muse character, speakers and microphones for talking to it, and a fingerprint sensor in one corner that you tap. Meta describes it as "a delightful and fun device" that fits in your pocket, and it says it will share more later this year.

James Pero, who covered the keynote for Gizmodo, saw it on a lanyard. That means you could hang it from a wrist or wear it around your neck as easily as clip it to your keys. It isn't the first AI keychain, either. The Starboy got there before it.

Meta bought Limitless, the startup behind an AI pendant, at the end of 2025. A leaked memo this year described a Meta pendant headed for employee testing in spring 2027. Muse Charm is due months before that, and Meta hasn't called it a pendant or tied it to that project. Our Meta AI Pendant Guide tracks what's confirmed and what's still only reported.

If you already wear Meta's glasses, you won't need a Charm to try Muse. Meta says Muse is coming to its AI glasses in the next few months. The Charm is the version for your pocket, and for now it has no price, no final design and no firm ship date beyond the holidays.
