QALO is charging $199.95 for its first fitness band, the SL-1, with no monthly subscription attached. The company, known for silicone rings, pairs the band with its own smart ring inside one app, so a sleep score from the ring and a workout from the band land in the same health profile. The SL-1 reaches Walmart this fall.
The band tracks heart rate, sleep, blood oxygen, stress, HRV, skin temperature and menstrual cycles, all without a screen. QALO's own FCC filing from August described more than that: a 30-second ECG, blood pressure, blood glucose and sleep apnea monitoring. None of it made the launch feature list.
