Samsung released the second One UI 9 beta to the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra on September 8. The build ends ZZI4 and weighs around 650MB. It carries four Galaxy AI tools that debuted on the Galaxy S26 and the Z Fold 8, per SamMobile. Call Brief puts contextual information and related events on the call screen while you are talking, and shows the other person's local time when you dial abroad. Custom Cards let you assemble a daily Now Brief out of Samsung Health, Weather and YouTube data at a time you pick. Now Nudge reads what is on screen and offers the next step without an app switch. My FanCam takes a video you have already recorded and reframes it to follow one person, and it works on any video already stored on the phone.

The same build fixes translation errors in Bixby Vision, crashes in the Contacts app and unstable Wi-Fi disconnections. It arrived a week after the first beta. Android Headlines reported the rollout starting in South Korea, India, the UK and Europe before expanding to the US. Samsung also opened a Wear OS 7 One UI 9 Watch beta for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic in South Korea on the same day. All four AI tools shipped first on phones Samsung sold this year, and they are reaching a phone that went on sale in early 2025 with no change to its hardware. The Galaxy S25 FE, Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7 are not in this beta.
