Meta is rolling out version 127 for the Ray-Ban Display glasses. The default assistant is swapped for Muse Spark, Meta's newest model, which the company says reads a wearer's surroundings more accurately and makes better daily suggestions. The update also adds voice control for Threads, Instagram Instants sharing, and live weather, stock and calendar data on the display.

For early-access wearers in the United States and Canada, the update turns on neural handwriting through the Meta Neural Band. You trace a prompt on any flat surface with a finger instead of saying Hey Meta out loud, and nobody around you knows you did anything. That arrives the same week people started paying to detect these glasses. Everyone else keeps the voice trigger until the program widens.
