Samsung Galaxy Glasses · Reported Feature

50 grams, and no screen

Around 50 grams with no screen on Gen 1 (Jinju): audio, camera, and AI only. The display version, codename Haean, is expected in 2027.

Samsung's Galaxy Glasses, codenamed Jinju, skip the screen and pipe audio to your ears through directional speakers at around 50 grams. That's normal-eyewear territory, and roughly a third the weight of Snap's Specs. The lenses darken automatically in sunlight. At $379 to $499, they're priced against Ray-Ban Meta, which does the same audio-no-display trick and already has an audience.
