What is the new sensor array?
It was reported as a redesigned rear sensor layout, eight sensors in a ring, aimed at more accurate health readings. It did not arrive. Apple lists a four-part Health Sensing System on the Series 12 and the Ultra 4: a third-generation electrical heart sensor, an always-on optical heart sensor, a blood oxygen sensor and a temperature sensor.
Which models would get it?
Neither. Apple published the same Health Sensing System for the Series 12 and the Ultra 4, and it is the four-sensor one rather than an eight-sensor ring.
