No. Apple lists an Always-On Retina display with wide-angle OLEDs and LTPO3, at 2000 nits peak brightness. That is the same panel technology as the last few generations. The Elec's report was about a possible move to HMO OLED in 2027, and it said commercial adoption is not guaranteed.
