Siri could summarize your day, including conversations the watch overhears

A Siri feature called Recaps is reported for the 2026 watches. It summarizes a user's day from the data the watch has, and that data is said to include conversations picked up around the wearer. No transcripts are shown and no audio is kept: the reporting says the hardware pulls what it needs live and discards the rest. It can be left running all day, switched on when wanted, or tied to particular places.

The 2026 Apple Watch models get a new Siri feature called Recaps that sums up your day, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported in September 2026. 9to5Mac said it uses the microphone, GPS and other sensors, and includes summaries of conversations.

AppleInsider reported the watch takes what it needs as it happens and throws the rest away. You can run it all day, turn it on when you want, or set it for certain places.

Apple lists Siri Recap on the Series 12 spec page. After launch, Lifehacker reported the watch sums up transcribed audio at the end of each day.
