Leaker Digital Chat Station describes two separate iPhone camera upgrades Apple is testing, tied to no specific model year.

The first is a 200 megapixel camera built around a 1/1.2 inch sensor, which the leaker said could ship as soon as 2027.

The second points further out. Digital Chat Station also reported a main camera sensor that grows to roughly 1/1.12 inches on iPhones beyond the iPhone 18 Pro generation, an even larger sensor than the 200 megapixel one described above.

Both come from Digital Chat Station, and neither carries a confirmed release date. A larger sensor generally means better low-light performance and more detail, but Apple has not confirmed either project.
